I LOVE exploring new restaurants with family and friends. I believe this is important to share with my clients because I aim to foster a no-judgment environment and teach a sustainable way of approaching food. As we all know, there will ALWAYS be another birthday celebration to attend or a holiday coming up, and falling on and off 'diets' throughout the year is defeating and simply just. doesn't. work.
Through 6 years of university education, balancing multiple jobs and internships, as well as family and friends I know all too well that we carry too much on our metaphorical plate. Just managing school or work and family and friends can be hard enough on us, then it feels impossible to do ALL. THE. THINGS we're expected to do for ourselves like...
eat well
work out
drink enough water
get sunshine
go to the doctor
destress, etc...
So, as I experimented with how to find what works for me and adapt my expectations and goals throughout different seasons of life...
I found grace, patience, and progress for ALL. THOSE. THINGS.
